RE Carignan 2019

Description

The grapes for this great wine come from a vineyard in the deep, forgotten Maule region that is now coming out into the world, thanks to the Carignan. It is grown in dry conditions, which is a perfect balance between the soil and its capacity to retain water from rainfall. This balance becomes magical or perfect with vines over 70 years old. The vines are self-supporting, forming an umbrella with their shoots and leaves to cover themselves from the excess of the scorching sun of the Maule. It is a wine of intense color, dense and deep. Its aromas are reminiscent of sour cherry, red fruits and dry grass. On the palate it unfolds with vigor, strength and speed, showing itself as a welcoming giant, fresh and mineral in structure, leaving a pleasant impression in the mouth with firm, ripe and very present tannins and a long persistence. It is a wine for today and 20 years more. Enjoy it with a black kettle casserole or simply with a fat encrusted marbled meat and you will forever remember this incredible experience shared with your family.
